Alken’s goal was to create a patio furniture set that was just as high quality and stylish as FDB Møbler’s indoor furniture, leading him to choose teak wood as the furniture’s material. The timeless and durable natural material ages beautifully, developing a lovely patina over time, with its golden-brown shade turning into a gorgeous silvery grey – however, the furniture’s original hue can also be maintained by protecting and regularly oiling the furniture. Properly cared for, teak furniture will last from year to year and from decade to decade.

General cleaning when needed with a suitable wood cleaner and soft bristle brush. Rinse afterwards with clear water and let dry. If you wish to preserve or intensify the original honey-golden colour, use a suitable furniture oil on a regular basis.
