What makes it Special?

Manufacturer: Alessi

Dimensions: 45cm L x 34cm W

Materials: Double wall bowl in steel coloured with epoxy resin, black with relief decoration.

Why is it Special?

The granulated finish applied to this bowl's metal surface, reinterprets an ancient goldsmithing technique but with an industrial twist. The arrangement of the granules follows a geometric order generated by the Fibonacci sequence, named after the Italian mathematician who identified the numerical code behind the Golden Ratio, one of the main principles that governs shapes in nature.

Just like the French fabric of the same name, the Moiré tray creates an iridescent effect with its embossed motif. The granulation-enhanced surface of the bowl is further enhanced by the colour.
